I designed and developed Go to Yelapa in 2018 as a free bilingual resource offering extensive information on rental homes, restaurants, activities, events, and other local services, with the main goal of supporting and promoting local businesses. For nearly eight years, I devoted my time and effort to keeping the information as accurate and up to date as possible, without expecting compensation or even acknowledgment.
However, the persistent and obvious lack of cooperation and interest on the part of all service providers eventually made it impossible to maintain the project's original vision. Over time, I came to understand that no matter how much support, visibility, and free promotion is offered, it is impossible to help those who are unwilling to do their part. As a result, I have been forced to remove many sections of the site and walk away from the original goal.
Even so, I hope the site is still useful to you.
