There is no viable access to Yelapa by land, but there are scheduled water taxis or 'pangas' between Puerto Vallarta and Yelapa all year.

If the water taxi schedule doesn't fit yours, or you prefer independence, you can hire a private boat to pick you up at the time that suits you best.
